. The actress Hilde Wörner worked at the Berliner Theater when she could took over the part of the first Soubrette after the leaving of the actress Lisa Weise. There she was spotted by Bolten-Baeckers of Oliver-Filmgesellschaft who engaged her as a serial star. She began her film career in 1915 with the movie "Die tolle Komtesse" (15). In the next few years she already experienced the height of her career when she took part in a wholte string of movie in 1919 and 1920. To her well-known movies of the silent movie era belong "Baronin Kammerjungfer" (17), "Die Waise von Lowood" (19), "Intermezzo (19), "Das Chamäleon" (20), "Der Graf von Cagliostro" (20), "Danton" (21) and "Die Flamme" (22). After that she retired from the film business more or less and dedicated
to the theater. In 1930 followed two more movies called "Das Flötenkonzert
von Sans-souci" (30) and "Einbrecher" (30) with Heinz
Rühmann.
