. The actress Martha Ziegler learnt her acting abilities at the acting school in Frankfurt. Afterwards followed engagements in Basel, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Berlin. She was also able to launch a busy film career from 1930 and she impersonated numerous support roles in the next years. To her well-known movies of the 30s belong "Abschied" (30), "Das Ekel" (31), "Der kleine Seitensprung" (31), "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" (31), "An heiligen Wasern" (32), "Muss man sich gleich scheiden lassen" (33), "Die vier Musketiere" (34), "Einer zuviel an Bord" (35) and "Donner, Blitz und Sonnenschein" (36). Her last cinematical works came in the 40s into being with "Aufruhr im Damenstift" (41), "Das Mädchen Juanita" (45) and "Mordprozess Dr. Jordan" (49).
