The actress Hermine Ziegler came to the theater in 1914 where she appeared on different stages in the next years like Trier, Karlsruhe and Frankfurt an der Oder.

After six season at the Nationaltheater Mannheim till 1937 followed engagements in Leipzig, Prag und Köln.

She joined the film business in 1937 as an established stage actress.
To her first appearances in front of the camera belong "Zweimal zwei im Himmelbett" (37), "Gewitter im Mai" (38), "Narren im Schnee" (38) and "Waldrausch" (39).

In the 40s followed other support roles in productions like "Beates Flitterwoche" (40), "Der Gasmann" (41), "Das schwarze Schaf" (44), "Schicksal im Strom" (44) and "Der Fall Molander" (45).

Her last cinematical work was "Der grosse Fall" (49).
