To her early movies belong the Italian silent movies "La scimitarra di Barbarossa" (19), "Monella di strada" (20), "La preda" (21), "La moglie bella" (24) and "Addio giovinezza!" (27).

From 1927 she worked often in Berlin and took part in some German silent movies, so in "Venus im Frack" (27), "Der Sprung ins Glück" (27), "Gehetzte Frauen" (27), "Scampolo" (28) and "Katharina Knie" (29).

The talkies prevented a continuation of her career in Germany and she appeared from now on in Italian and French movies again.
To her last movies belong "La vacanza del diavolo" (31), "La femme en homme" (31), "Quella vecchia canaglia" (34) and "Le comte de Monte Cristo" (43).

Carmen Boni was married with director Augusto Genina.
