1882 - 1927

The actress Valli Valli was born as Valli Knust in Berlin.
Because she descended from an old English family she grew up in England most of the time. 

She had her first stage performance at the age of 12 at Terry's Theater in London in the play "Gentle Ivy".
One year later she also acted successfully at her birthplace Berlin and became a regular actress at different theaters afterwards.

As an adult she became established as a stage actress and she appeared in England predominantly.
In 1905 followed her first tour in the USA, three years later followed the second one. Afterwards she went to the USA again for several times till 1919. 

Valli Valli was spotted for the film in 1915 but she was only active for two years for this medium.
After her first movie "The High Road" (15) with Frank Elliott she took part in the movies "The Woman Pays" (15), "The Turmoil" (16) - both directed by Edgar Jones as well as "Her Debt of Honor" (16).

Her sisters Lulu Valli and Ida Valli were also actresses, furthermore she also had two brothers.
Valli Valli was married with the music and stage producer Louis Dreyfus. She died in 1927 at the age of only 45.
